Last Chance to Purchase Tickets

Wow, I've been horrible in updating this. Facebook has captured all of my attention.

Reminder that the PayPal option will be deleted Thursday night by midnight. No joke. So that will be your LAST chance to purchase tickets at the regular price.

If you come on Friday and pay at the door, the following will happen:

Single Ticket= $100

Couple Ticket= $160

CASH ONLY!!!!

There's still time to make it to the reunion! Several people have purchased in the past few days, so decisions are still being made. We sincerely hope to see everyone there!

I believe we have roughly 75 classmates attending and we hope to increase that by a tad more! We're looking forward to an amazing weekend!

Whose email is ripples1@bellsouth.net? We cannot get your name or address off the paypal account. Please respond. Also, please buy tickets and encourage your compatriots to do so. I promise that Mrs. Beam will not have any of your children if you do so.

Absolute last chance at current price

This is it. The very last week at the current ticket price. All purchases by Sunday will be at the original price and Monday the price will go up $5. This practice will continue as an incentive to not wait until the last second. For those of you that have already bought in to this exciting weekend, many thanks. For those of you on the fence, get with it.

Good afternoon good people. The scene is set. A 7-8 bar pub crawl will kick things off on Friday night downtown at 5:30. The evening will begin with check-in in the courtyard of Leo's (across the street from Tato Nut) where you and your guest will get your wristbands, nametags, and scorecards for the pub crawl. There will be a band and drink specials at Leo's and drink specials at all participating bars. Saturday will consist of a playing and popsicles in the Childrens' Park for everyone with families. Then, the events that evening will begin at about 6 at the Community Center. There will be food, booze, music, and awards. Then spend the rest of the evening mingling and trying to scheme on and plot on one another. More updates soon.

Amazing, Matthew Treadway bought a ticket. There is now officially no excuse for not buying a ticket immediately.
Good news classmates! On Saturday I will finalize the plans for the Friday evening festivities. The plan will be for y'all to meet at a table at Leo's on Government St. downtown and from there begin a pubcrawl to all of the surrounding bars. Provided there is enough interest prizes will be awarded to those of you with strong livers. There will be drink specials at each bar for everyone that has bought a ticket and received their wristband. Spread the word everybody.

Time to get in gear ladies and gentlemen. The reunion is getting dangerously close and we need ticket sales to finance all of the goodies you are expecting. So pretty please, with a cherry on top, buy tickets and encourage everyone you remember from high school to do the same. The deadline at the current price is May 1.

Ticket Sales Are Picking Up!

Yay! More people have steadily begun to buy tickets and have helped us begin to get the reunion process moving again! Special thanks to the following people:

Janet Williams Lumpkin

Richard Kostal

Taylor Byrd

Many people have also been asking for more details of the events planned for the reunion. Here is a basic breakdown:

Friday June 18: Meet and Greet on Government Street. We are hoping to secure drink specials at bars around Government Street and allow people to walk around to different places.

Saturday June 19: Late morning to early afternoon there will be an event for those with children at Fort Maurepas.

That night is the main event at the OS Community Center where there will be food, beverages, and music.

Hope this helps! Please continue to support us by purchasing tickets whenever you can, and again thanks to Elizabeth, Janet, Richard, and Taylor for essentially giving me your money to spend! :o)

We Need Folks to Buy Tickets!!!

First, go Saints! My life has been preoccupied with that since we won the NFC Championship and now the Super Bowl. Anyway, I digress.

So far, only one person has purchased tickets. Yay for Elizabeth Powell Jernigan!! We need more people like Elizabeth, for frankly we are out of money.

Marshall, Emily, and I have put in several hundred dollars and it has all gone to getting initial expenses done, but now we have nothing left in the pot save for Elizabeth's $140. This means right now everything is on hold.

Please buy tickets! Encourage people to buy! Once we get some money, we can get things progressing because nothing has been done lately. Emily needs money to start getting the caterers on board; I need money to help secure additional help for the OS Community Center; and Marshall needs money to help fund our meet and greet event. Overall, we need your help!

Updated List Coming Soon!

Hey y'all! This is Jason. Sorry for the extreme delay in the blog over the past three weeks! Like most of you, life has gotten busy! Plus, I admit, at least one of my weekend days has been devoted to watching the Saints go for the Super Bowl. Tomorrow shall be another one of those days as I sit in the Dome and cheer them on!

I have received numerous updates from folks concerning people! Tremendous thanks to Danielle Auge and Sabrina Basch for providing several people and everyone else contributing! I will update the list sometime today as soon as I finish some school work!

As Marshall said, I encourage everyone to begin purchasing tickets for our event! We will soon be needing to be making deposits to get the ball rolling and we need your support!

Continue to help make this event a success!

PayPal Account

Classmates, the PayPal account is up and ready for action. Please buy tickets as soon as you can so that we can pay deposits on food, booze, and rentals. I am sorry to remind you that our $2000 was embezzled by the high school and we are working with what Jason has been able to make selling himself (not much). Please encourage every classmate you know to but one soon and not wait until the last minute.

Cheers,

Marshall
